El bombardeo a Dresden, ese gran crímen de guerra inglés de la 2a guerra

While Britain claims to be an advocate of human rights in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and many other countries around the world, British history itself is corroborating evidence that Britain, the greatest human rights preacher, has also been the most flagrant human rights breacher.

More than 500,000 German civilians and refugees, mostly women and children, were slaughtered by Britain’s saturation bombing in 1945, one of the worst massacres of all time.

Over 700,000 phosphorus bombs were dropped on 1.2 million defenseless inhabitants of German city Dresden under Britain’s then Prime Minister Winston Churchill’s order, which not only reduced one of the greatest centers of northern Europe to flaming ruins, but also led to one of the worst war crimes of the Second World War.

Dresden’s bombing in February, 13, 1945 was so relentless that some historians believe it was the height of Winston Churchill’s madness.

“I do not want suggestions as to how we can disable the economy and the machinery of war, what I want are suggestions as to how we can roast the German refugees on their escape from Breslau,” Churchill said once.

Toward the end of the war, Churchill’s desired firestorm was finally created. More than 260,000 bodies and residues of bodies were counted after British Royal Air Force (RAF) and the United States Army Air Force (USAAF) assaulted Dresden. However, those who perished in the centre of the city could not be traced, as the temperature in the area reached 1600 degree Centigrade.

Dresden’s citizens barely had time to reach their shelters and those who sought refuge underground often suffocated as oxygen was pulled from the air to feed the flames. Others perish in a blast of white heat, heat strong enough to melt human flesh.

When the bombing started, no one could imagine that in less than 24 hours all those innocent people could die screaming in Churchill's firestorms.

If there was a war crime, certainly the Dresden tragedy would rank as one of the most sinister of all time. Sadly, however, Churchill, who ordered the slaughter of up to a half million innocent people in this horrifying tragedy, was knighted by Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II in 1953.

The British queen made Churchill a knight of the Order of the Garter, Britain’s highest order of knighthood.

Finalizando y apenas concluida la Segunda Guerra los genocidios y masacres fueron contra alemanes. Borislavka, en Praga, Checoslovaquia: 7 minutos de infierno.

Ahi queda el dato, filmaciones de la época recientemente descubiertas muestran que la barbarie puede hacer presa a cualquiera, filmación de checoslovacos masacrando alemanes apenas finalizando la Segunda Guerra.

¿ Es esto bueno ? ¿ Cómo se calificaría ? Para mí es peor pues aun siendo víctimas no aprendieron a respetar la vida ajena, o sea que estos ya no lo entenderían nunca.

Lo que queda claro es que asi como tal vez hubo otro, famoso y que tanto pregonan TAMBIEN HUBO UN ASESINATO SISTEMÁTICO DE CIVILES ALEMANES al concluir la guerra. Si es ojo por ojo, LOS ALEMANES ESTAN A MANOS ENTONCES.

Y que conste que el artículo de Der Spiegel menciona que aquellos que no murieron con la ráfaga de las armas y pedian ayuda o clemencia tirados en el piso solo fueron atendidos con un camión del Ejército Rojo, cuyas llantas machacaban por igual a muertos  heridos. A escasos metros donde debe estar la fosa común de todas estas víctimas hay una placa honrando dos checos caídos en combate en Mayo 6, 1945, ironías de la vida.

Aquí otro film (o tal vez es el mismo caso pero con otroa referencia) del documentalista David Vondracek, quien dió  a conocer la filmación de la que habla este tema. Más alemanes muertos 765 ajusticiados en Postolprty. Esto no lo verán en peliculita ridícula y cursi de Hollywood o Hallmark ni en Discovery o History o National Geographic o PBS.

The film attempts to shed some light on the post-war massacre in Postoloprty, in which 763 local German residents died, including five thirteen-year-old boys. Nobody was punished after the war. This film captures the tragic event through the eyes of direct witnesses who travel to Postoloprty from Germany, a police officer who pushed on with the investigation, the dead victims or young playwright Miroslav Bambušek who wrote a play based on the event (the play might be used for reenactments). One of the witnesses to the massacre would like to build a memorial in the fateful place that is currently lined with ads for a brothel. The film might also follow another line that would explore the reactions of a small town that refuses to acknowledge the dark blemish in its history.
